Satan is “the ruler of this world” & “god of this age” who “deceives the whole world” (John 12:31 John 14:30 John 16:11 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 Revelation 12:9) The world is in spiritual darkness because “the whole world is under control of the evil one”(Ephesians 6:12 1John 5:19)
