According to @ChrisCotillo, the #RedSox have DFA’d 24yr old SS Jeter Downs. Downs made his MLB debut in 2022 with 39 AB, hit .154, and was ranked 24th on Boston’s Top-30 prospects list. If the #Cubs miss on Swanson, would you look into bringing Downs in on a minor league deal?
