#FindsFriday A C.2nd pot from Colchester, Essex, showing a chariot race. A chariot-racing stadium (circus) was found in Colchester in 2004, and the pot is of local manufacture, so the potter had quite possibly been to the races himself. (Now in British Museum.) #romanbritain
