In July 1927, a severe earthquake hit Jerusalem killing 130 people. About 300 buildings were damaged including Masjid al-Qibly on the south side of the al-Aqsa compound. These photos show the extent of the damage as a result of the roof partially collapsing. #MasjidalAqsa
