#OTD in 1942, Hitler's "yes man", Wilhelm Keitel issues further orders on reasons for arrest within the Nacht und Nebel (NN) framework. French police assist with the first deportations from Paris a few weeks later.
However, what was not known was that the men were deported under the 'Nacht und Nebel' edict. In March 44, FM Keitel rejected the appeal for clemency and at dawn on 19 April, they were all guillotined at Stuttgart prison. 8/9
